Spice Up Your Workout at the New Creve Coeur CycleBar

Spring has officially sprung and the race is on to get your body summer ready! For over a year, the Boy and I have been trying to make exercise a regular part of our routine. As I’m sure you can imagine, we go through phases where we are in the gym 5x/week and others where we skip a whole week. He is much more diligent about working out than I am, as I tend to get bored of the same machines day after day. Lucky for me, a friend told me about a CycleBar opening in Creve Coeur and I jumped at the chance to spice up my workout routine with a few free classes.  (more…)

3 Reasons You Need a Best Friend at Work and How to Find One

I’m a firm believer that friendships develop in the most unlikely of places. Most people don’t go to work to make friends, but if they are fortunate enough to connect with someone the relationship may not get too deep since after all you know one another professionally. However, I’ve been blessed not just to find someone I kind of like at my job, but someone that I actually want to spend time with outside of work and in the short time that we’ve been closer probably knows me as well as my college friends. Now while some of you may think I’m crazy for letting a co-worker into my inner circle, I’m here to tell you that it has made me realize we all need to have a best friend at work! (more…)

5 Budget Friendly Destinations Millennials Will Love

Despite this, we all deserve to experience other cultures and see new places. There are ten destinations that have been deemed budget friendly that I would love to visit: (more…)

My Top 3 Dog-Friendly Places in St. Louis

Spring is doing its best to make an early entrance, with warmer temperatures and confused blooming plants. Though I’m in no way an outdoorsy person, I’ve been loving these warmer temperatures and trying to spend a little more time outside. I’m not the only one at my house happy to see winter coming to an end, the dogs are ecstatic too. Trips to go potty have gotten quite a bit longer and I basically have to drag them back inside. They also seem more eager to go on car rides so I’ve decided to make an effort to start hanging out at more dog-friendly places. (more…)

3 Podcasts Every Millennial Should be Listening To

Maybe I’m a little behind, but it seems like podcasts are all the rage right now. I realize they’ve been around for quite some time, but it seems as though a large number of people I know have started podcasts within the past year or so. For those that are unfamiliar, according to dictionary.com, a podcast is a “digital audio file made available on the internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device, typically available as a series…” Podcasts are great for when you’re stuck in traffic or even at work (assuming you don’t interact with people). I’ve become a regular listener of two college friends’ podcasts and The Boy has one he frequently enjoys. I think these three podcasts are totally worthy of being shared with all of my Royals. (more…)
