Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s gift giving season. Maybe you started your shopping on Black Friday/Cyber Monday or you can’t stand the crowds so you’ll be doing your shopping in the coming weeks. No matter the circumstance, you probably have some men on your list to shop for. I’ve notice that it’s always much easier for me to plan gifts for the women in my life, than it is the men. I’m not quite sure what it is, but men are SO hard to shop for. In talking with my girlfriends, it seems that we all tend to struggle in this area. I can’t believe I’ve officially entered my late 20’s today. It feels like I was just celebrating my 21st birthday in Miami and my only concern was making sure I had limes for my Corona. These days I’m worrying about bills, hunting for a house, and fighting baby fever. I strongly believe that many of the trials and tribulations I’ve faced are common amongst my fellow 20-year-olds. 3 Lessons Taught by Teenagers + Thursday 3 Link Up

As I get older, it seems that I learn lessons in places and situations I least expect. In case you’re new here, when I’m not at my 9 to 5 or working on the blog I’m babysitting. The family I currently babysit for has two children, H and E, and I’ve been with them for the past 2.5 years. H and E are 13 and 11 respectively, so I’ve gotten to watch them grow from basically kids to teenagers. While it is my job to keep them safe, get them from point A to point B, and be a positive role model while in my care, I realized last night that they have had quite the impact on my life these past couple of years.
