27 Facts for My 27 Years – Get to Know The Blogger

I can’t believe I’ve officially entered my late 20’s today. It feels like I was just celebrating my 21st birthday in Miami and my only concern was making sure I had limes for my Corona. These days I’m worrying about bills, hunting for a house, and fighting baby fever. I strongly believe that many of the trials and tribulations I’ve faced are common amongst my fellow 20-year-olds. Royalty in Reality is all about sharing my struggles and ideas of how to survive this transition from being a care-free young adult to being a real life adult. Royalty in Reality is Officially ONE!

That’s right Royals, Royalty in Reality is officially one year old! I can’t believe how quickly this year has passed and all that I’ve accomplished running the blog in my “spare time”. I also can’t thank the people who have played a role in this journey enough for their loyalty, support, and encouragement. While I am tremendously proud of my little piece of the internet and grateful for all those that have supported it, there is so much more I want to do with Royalty in Reality. (more…)

The Truth About Rent The Runway

We attended our last wedding of the season over the weekend. While I’ve been honored to shower our newly married friends with gifts and love, I am exhausted. Since late August we have attended five weddings, which required four different dresses (two of the weddings were on the same day). Because they were so close to one another, I didn’t want to wear the same dress more than once, but there was no way in the world I could afford four new dresses AND gifts for each couple. I ended up buying two dresses, wearing one I already owned (but had never worn), and renting one from Rent the Runway. This past weekend’s wedding was black tie optional, so it seemed fitting to sport a more formal look for the occasion. (more…)
