GUEST POST: A Brighter Blue Suit is a Style Power Play

Although I know how to spot a well dressed man, men’s fashion has always been a bit of a mystery to me. I can’t tell you what the current trends are or call off the names of things the way I can with women’s fashion. Despite being a female blogger, I genuinely want Royalty in Reality to be for everyone. When Claire approached me about writing an article for men on how to style a blue suit, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to show my royal romeos a little love. Without further ado, here is Claire’s take on how to make a brighter blue suit a style power play.

3 Ways to Save Money on Your Wedding

Hey Royals! I feel like I’ve been away from social media and the blog for far too long (I only had one new post last week and have been fairly absent for social media). I’ve been busy adulting, spending a little time with my family, and enjoying being newly engaged. On the wedding front, we’ve got a date in mind (that’s pretty far from now) and I’ve been really trying to figure out where and how to get started. Restaurant Review: Seafood by Crushed Velvet

Truth be told, it crosses my mind all the time to share new restaurants I visit or recipes we try, but I’m always so excited to eat that I forget to take pictures throughout the process and we all know that just won’t work for a blog post. Thanks to my girls, I remembered to snap a few pictures while trying a new restaurant this past weekend. We went to Seafood by Crushed Velvet in Belleville, IL, approximately 30 minutes away from St. Louis. I literally couldn’t wait to get home to write a formal review about this restaurant! (more…)

5 Budget Friendly Destinations Millennials Will Love

I love to travel, but my budget doesn’t always let me jet set around the world. There seems to be an abundance of flight glitches that can get you across the world for just a few hundred dollars, but unless you have a travel fund/account or just a few hundred dollars lying around, these deals don’t really do you much good. Despite this, we all deserve to experience other cultures and see new places. There are ten destinations that have been deemed budget friendly that I would love to visit: (more…)

My Top 3 Dog-Friendly Places in St. Louis

Spring is doing its best to make an early entrance, with warmer temperatures and confused blooming plants. Though I’m in no way an outdoorsy person, I’ve been loving these warmer temperatures and trying to spend a little more time outside. I’m not the only one at my house happy to see winter coming to an end, the dogs are ecstatic too. Trips to go potty have gotten quite a bit longer and I basically have to drag them back inside. They also seem more eager to go on car rides so I’ve decided to make an effort to start hanging out at more dog-friendly places. (more…)
