Creating the Perfect Royal Court: Bridesmaid Proposals

Since The Boy and I got engaged, there have been three questions on the forefront of everyone’s mind: 1) When is the big day?, 2) How did he ask?, and 3) Have you picked your bridesmaids? I’m not ashamed to admit that I had a list of potential bridesmaids on a note in my phone for AGES…while I may not have always known who my husband would be I had a pretty solid idea of the ladies who would be standing beside me when I said I do. One of the first things I did after The Boy proposed was to start googling “how to propose to my bridesmaids”. I wanted to do something special, but I also didn’t want to spend a crazy amount of money. 3 Ways to Save Money on Your Wedding

Hey Royals! I feel like I’ve been away from social media and the blog for far too long (I only had one new post last week and have been fairly absent for social media). I’ve been busy adulting, spending a little time with my family, and enjoying being newly engaged. I’m using this time before we actually need to book a venue and vendors to do some research (and save money). (more…)

So far everyone has been asking when we’ll get married and where it will be, but I’m still enjoying the moment of being newly engaged. We have very briefly discussed a date far enough down the road to be able to actually afford a wedding. As of now, I have PLENTY of time to plan, but I randomly dawned on me that I have no clue where to start. Lucky for me, I know many of my readers are married and/or engaged and thus have experience planning weddings so I thought I’d seek advice your these women. I have so many questions, but I weeded them down to what I think are the most important three right now and I’m hoping that anyone with experience can help this newly engaged bride-to-be out!
